Covering one’s head when eating and entering the toilet

Question

Is it necessary to cover one’s head when eating and when entering the toilet?

Answer

It is considered as part of Islamic etiquette (Mustahab)  covering the head when eating and when going to the toilet.

عن حبيب بن صالح رحمه الله قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا دخل الخلاء لبس حذاءه وغطّى رأسه ( السنن الكبرى للبيهقى 1/96)
